Penis Size - Some Thoughts About Results Of Our Poll

Obviously this is not a scientific study. Anyone could choose to lie, try to be funny or whatever. What strikes me about this is how closely our results parallel those of actual studies of the population--studies that involved actual measurements rather than self-reports.

Quoting from the site Live Science, "Drawing upon the results of 12 relevant studies, the review, detailed in the British Journal of Urology (BJU) International, finds that the average erect penis is about 5.5 to 6.2 inches long and about 4.7 to 5.1 inches in circumference."  Our results were right in that area.

You'll note that the results are clustered around that average area in a very predictable, approximate "bell curve" sort of distribution.  Those indicating above average size, however, are greater than those who report lengths below average.

Some studies have indicated that gay men have sizes that are greater than those of straight men.  Consequently, you should not assume that these figures are also applicable to the straight male population.
