Review of Zerophilia

Zerophilia is arousing, stimulating, intriguing and so much more.  It takes “gender-bending” to a new level. 

Any description of the plot invites simplification of theme and risks divulging too much.  I’ll tell you this much, because you will learn it from reading the cover copy, it deals with a protagonist who changes gender characteristics uncontrollably.  Okay, the cover doesn’t actually express it that way, but I believe my translation is more reliable.

This is the film that bisexual people and trans people must have been awaiting.  The fundamental, beautifully presented message is to worry about your “fit” with the person to whom you are attracted, and stop worrying about the sex label of the person whom you love.

The theme is presented with beautiful characters who are sexually charged and beautiful in their own right.  Add to that foundation superb editing and careful cinematography and the result is this excellent film.
