This extremely important documentary examines the use of crystal methamphetamine in the gay community. It
uses interviews with current and recovering meth addicts to demonstrate the addictive power of the drug, its
powerful attraction and the broken lives that result. The subjects of the interviews are remarkably
candid. The contrasts between those in recovery and those who still use crystal meth are stunning.
This well produced and engaging film makes subtle arguments for intervention by friends and family as well as
the importance of accessible, long term treatment centers. While the focus of the film is on gay men, it
is important viewing for all members of society.
